On April 29, 2012, Dagestan residents Zaira Akaeva (23 years old) and Zalina Gabibulaeva (28 years old) were arrested at a checkpoint on the border of North Ossetia-Alania and Ingushetia. Referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia-Alania, the media reported that they had been detained in connection with the fact that an explosive was found inside the spare wheel in the car they were driving.
